Welcome to Xeno Bot! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use and access to Xeno Bot ("the Bot"), created by Devvyyxyz. By using the Bot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using Xeno Bot.

1. Description of Service

Xeno Bot is a Discord bot designed for gamers, offering features to enhance the user experience within Discord servers. The Bot is free to use, with optional paid features for advanced functionality.

2. Usage Guidelines

When using Xeno Bot, you agree to the following usage guidelines:

  1. Prohibited Activities:
  2. You may not use Xeno Bot for any illegal activities.
  3. Cross-trading (e.g., trading virtual items between different games) is prohibited.

  4. Selling virtual items or services associated with Xeno Bot for real money is strictly forbidden, except through official and authorized methods.

  5. Redistribution:

  6. Redistribution of Xeno Bot is permitted under the conditions of the AGPL-3.0 license.
  7. Redistribution must not be for commercial purposes, and all usage must comply with the repository’s license (GNU AGPL-3.0).

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in immediate termination of your access to Xeno Bot.

3. Licensing and Ownership

    Xeno Bot is open source and licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). Please refer to the official license for full details.

  2. Ownership of Content:

  3. The content generated or logged by the Bot, including user data, belongs to their respective owners (e.g., the user or guild).
  4. However, any modifications to the Bot’s core codebase or functionalities must comply with the AGPL-3.0 license.

4. Warranties and Liability Disclaimers

  2. Xeno Bot is provided on an "as-is" basis and may contain bugs or errors. We make no guarantees regarding its functionality, reliability, or uptime.

  3. Limitation of Liability:

  4. Xeno Bot’s developers are not liable for any damages, losses, or issues that arise from the use or misuse of the Bot, including (but not limited to) unauthorized deployments, data loss, or interruptions.

5. Privacy and Data Collection

Xeno Bot collects and stores the following information:

  • User IDs, usernames, and profile pictures
  • Guild (server) IDs, names, and profile pictures
  • Other limited user data required for functionality and features (e.g., bot commands and settings)

Note

The collected data is necessary for Xeno Bot's operation and not shared with third parties. By using Xeno Bot, you consent to this data collection.

For data removal or concerns, users can contact the development team via the official support server.

6. Support and Termination

  1. Support:
    Users can access official support for bug reports, feature requests, and general questions via the Xeno Bot Support Server.

  2. Termination of Access:

  3. Xeno Bot's developers reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Bot for violations of these Terms, including illegal usage, harassment, or abuse of the service.
  4. Termination decisions are at the sole discretion of the development team.

7. Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution

  1. Jurisdiction:
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

  2. Dispute Resolution:
    In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to resolve the matter through arbitration before pursuing any legal action, except where prohibited by law.

8. Payment and Refund Policy

  1. Free and Paid Features:
    Xeno Bot is free to use, with optional paid features available to enhance the user experience.

  2. No Refund Policy:
    All payments made for Xeno Bot’s features are final, and refunds will not be provided.

9. Credits and Third-Party Libraries

  1. Credits:
  2. Xeno Bot is built using discord.js, a Node.js library for interacting with the Discord API.

  3. A full list of third-party libraries and dependencies can be found in the package.json file in the Bot’s public repository.

  4. Acknowledgments:
    The developers extend their gratitude to the open-source community and contributors who have assisted in the creation of Xeno Bot.

10. Changes to These Terms

The development team reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Users are encouraged to periodically review the Terms. Continued use of Xeno Bot constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
